We are a contest station situated in the South West part of the Netherlands in the province of Zeeland,
approximately 20 miles west of the North Sea coast. Our name, Contest Group Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, is derived from the part of Zeeland where our station is located.
The idea to start this contest station arose in the early summer of 2008 when Erik PD1DX and Johan PD2DX had a conversation about the same goal to have a contest station in the province of Zeeland.
PI4DX has a crew of 7 members now; Willy PA3EVY, Erik PD1DX, Harm PC5Z, Maarten PD2R, Johan PD2DX, Arnold PA3GDD and Casper PA7DX
The station is situated on a 4000m2 property owned by Erik PD1DX.
This part of the Netherlands is not heavily populated and as flat a pancake. There are no natural obstacles to compromise our take off angles.
The station is built to operate Multi-Single, Multi-Two or SOAB, All our antennas are homebrewed full size monobanders.
We have 2 rotatable towers and 1 small tower with beams for europe signals.
If you have any remarks or questions, please feel free to contact us. We will appreciate it.
